Free Online Photo Editing Made Fun
Here’s another great free online tool - Picnik.com
Picnik.com is an online photo editing tool. Picnik comes with some great special effects, and can be used with a bunch of community photo sharing sites (Flickr, Imageshack, Photobucket, etc). It’s not as powerful as Photoshop, but for a free browser-based image editor, Picnik does a great job.
Here are some photos I modified using the Picnik tool:

Upload a photo and tweak to your heart’s content, then get creative with the effects, fonts, shapes, and frames. Pretty cool.

Free Web to PDF Plug-in for Internet Explorer & Firefox
“PDF Download” is a free product from the Nitro PDF Software team, the first true alternative to Adobe® Acrobat®. They have an add-on (or plug-in) for Firefox, Flock and Internet Explorer that lets you convert any (unsecured) Web page into a high-quality PDF. IT’s great for archiving, printing and sharing.
I’ve used this product and Acrobat’s “print to PDF” print driver. The Nitro product is far superior when it comes to converting web to PDF.

Mapping the Social Conversation
Brian Solis, from FutureWorks, blogged his idea of “The Converation Prisim”. The blog post charts online conversations between the people that populate communities as well as the networks that connect the Social Web.
I love his quote: “If a conversation takes place online and you’re not there to hear or see it, did it actually happen?”

Where IT pros do their social networking?

Only 16% of IT pros said they didn’t visit social networking, social media or social bookmarking sites. That means 84% of our readers use these sites, which is up significantly from 68% last year.
A majority of IT pros — 64% — said they are using social-networking sites more than they did a year ago.
