What I like about Rouxbe.com is its clean layout organized content. They didn’t over kill the site color.  This is a great example of less is more.  Additionally, they have great content.

Another food recipe site is foodtube.net.  FoodTube is a user generate content site from a community of cooks and food fanatics. You never know what quaility of a recipe you’re going to get.

I’m not overly thrilled with their site design, but they do have a lot of content.
